About the event
Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend by honoring the women who nurture, support, and inspire us. Join me at the Hudson River Spring Festival, where I will be showcasing my Japanese paper art collection, Magokoro New York.
The word magokoro expresses love that is sincere and wholehearted, a philosophy I carry into every creation. I work with traditional yuzen washi paper, known for its vibrant colors and intricate patterns inspired by kimono textiles. Through my self-developed polymer coating process, I transform this delicate paper into luminous, glass-like forms that are both elegant and durable.
At the festival, you will find a curated selection of my handcrafted works, including jewelry, candle holders, greeting cards, trays, coasters, and decorative pieces. Each piece preserves the beauty of Japanese paper while revealing new dimensions of texture, light, and color.
Whether you are searching for a thoughtful gift for your mother, a meaningful token for someone you love,…
