About the event
In this special arts and wellness program, papercraft artist Yoshimi Arai will show how to discover the hidden wellness benefits of the ancient art form of Origami (from ori, meaning "folding," and kami, meaning "paper"), where traditional paper folding becomes a pathway to mental clarity and physical wellness. While deeply rooted in Japanese cultural heritage, this workshop reimagines origami as a modern wellness practice, thoughtfully blending:
• Gentle finger exercises that improve dexterity
• Meditative folding sequences that enhance memory
• Musical accompaniment that elevates mood
• Color psychology that stimulates creativity
• Mathematical patterns that challenge your mind
